Context

187 Chambers is a leading London-based barristers chambers specialising in a wide range of areas of law. Their website relied heavily on stock imagery and did not represent their brand values, which are to provide the highest quality, professional legal services.

Challenge

The main challenge was to create a website that represents the brand values of 187 Chambers while also being modern, stylish, and user-friendly. The website needed to be easy to navigate and provide clear information about the services provided. Additionally, we wanted to get away from the use of stock photography by creating custom outline illustrations and icons to represent each area of law in a unique and professional way.

Approach

We started by analysing the client’s requirements and target audience to determine the best design approach. Working with the client, we chose a colour palette that complimented the custom photography of their newly redecorated chambers. We then designed custom outline illustrations for each area of law to represent them in a unique and professional way and make it easier for users to navigate the site and find the information they need.

Results

The redesigned 187 Chambers website was a success. The custom outline illustrations and icons created a unique and professional look and feel that accurately represented the brand values of 187 Chambers. The website was user-friendly and easy to navigate, providing clear information about the services offered. The custom icons made it easier for users to find the information they needed quickly, improving the user experience. The website’s design is modern and stylish, attracting more visitors to the site and improving the client’s online presence.
